Halo Themed Horror Escape Room Concept Art - Environmental

This was a 6 person project, and while the very talented Kaj Bishop and Reilly Cisco did the box modeling and lighting, I got to paint over a lot of their early renders in Clip Studio to show how we'd later add more complex models to our environments.

My job was to take the idea of the Flood aliens (Here we called them the 'Torrent') and try to make them seem more horrific and visceral.

I painted over the 3D image provided- One pod has an arm you can rip off to complete one of the puzzles. The other pod's inhabitant is missing....

I spruced up the room with different things in jars, a machine on the desk, some bloodstains and some aliens floating in tanks.

Something probably grabbed this scientist while he was hiding in the elevator, and his body got horribly mangled in the gears. You need to dissolve it to progress.

A gross body you'd find on the operating table and need to pull parts out of to progress.
