Rishii Jedi Knight

I made this character for my Advanced Character Design class with Rayce Bird. Just from this project, I think my 2D image quality increased very dramatically, and after this is when I started trying to do my first commissions. We were assigned to draw a jedi character of a race within the Star Wars Universe that didn't have many jedi images of it yet.

I'd never really drawn anything avian-human hybrid before at the time, and upon seeing an owl race knew that I wanted to draw a Rishii.
I'm particularly proud of the intense look in his eyes.
